Henk Marselis died Tuesday, Aug. 26, after a brief illness.
Marselis loved life, family and community.
He was an active participant in many organizations, most recently the YMCA, Leadership Morgan Hill, Toastmasters and St. John the Divine Episcopal Church. He was a dedicated employee of IBM for 47 years where he worked in Financial Management after he completed his education.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, sons Hans and Thys of Morgan Hill, brother Jan and sisters Annie and Jeanne of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and many loving friends.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held today, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Divine Church, 17740 Peak Avenue, Morgan Hill. A reception will follow the ceremony.
Donations may be sent to the St. John’s Building Fund.
