Trustees unanimously endorsed Superintendent Gary McIntire's plans for Calaveras School at this week's meeting.

The Hollister School District Board of Trustees on Saturday announced the hiring of Dr. Lisa Andrew from Campbell to succeed Dr. Gary McIntire as superintendent after this school year ends.
Trustees approved Andrew as the next schools chief in Hollister, confirmed Jesus Romero, administrative assistant to the superintendent.
McIntire’s contract had extended through 2017, but in an email to employees and friends last fall he announced his last official day of work in the district would be June 30, 2016. McIntire joined the district as superintendent in 2010 after having the same title in Susanville, where he owns a home and will retire with his wife.
Andrew comes from the Campbell area. She has held school administration positions throughout the Bay Area, according to her Linkedin page.
