Joann Berti of Pacific Grove took home the best of show award at the Downtown Street Festival & Car Show.
His award for a 1932 Ford sedan was among 16 winners in Saturday’s annual car show. Other winners included the following:
Randy Griffith of Hollister won best antique pre-1930 for a 1930 Model A Ford.
Mary Pellissier of Hollister won best corvette for a 1963 Corvette Roadster.
Sergio Torres of Prunedale won best low-rider car for a 1938 custom Chevy.
Armond Mesa of Hollister won best Mustang for a 2014 Mustang.
Raymond Barba of Paso Robles won best paint job for a 1934 Chevy Phantom.
Nor Cal B-Bodies of Hollister won car club with most participation.
Bryan Friend of Hollister won best classic 1961-1975 for a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7.
Larry Blevins of Prunedale won best custom modified for a 1949 Mercury coupe.
William Rice of Peyton, Colo. won best longest distance traveled and had a 1931 Ford with A-slant window.
Gabino Vargas of Hollister won the Martha de la Rosa Memorial award for a 1964 Chevy Impala convertible.
Steve Caposio of Morgan Hill won best modern 1976-present for a 1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d-Elegance.
Dave Painter of Hollister won best muscle pre-1973 for a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner.
Jim Basinger of Paso Robles won people’s choice for a 1955 Chevy 1/2-ton pickup.
Jim Basinger of Paso Robles won best pickup for a 1955 Chevy 1/2-ton pickup.
Ron Van Soosten of Salinas won best vintage 1931-1960 for a 1957 Plymouth Belvedere.
