Services held
Funeral services for Horace Bacon, who died Dec. 13 at the age of 77, were held Thursday afternoon at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rev. Ardyss Golden of Hollister United Methodist Church officiated with music by Jody Larson.
Interment at the IOOF Cemetery followed the services. Pallbearers were Brian Barrett, Alan Bacon, Steve Tonjes, Gary Marentis and Jeff and Robert Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers were Ernest Prewett, Stanley Schmidt, Steve, Jerry and Giles Kennedy, Herbert Miller, Richard Hardin and Ed Marentis.
