‘The Vagina Monologues’

Gavilan College presents a benefit performance of “The Vagina Monologues at 8 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Gavalian College Theatre, 5505 Santa Teresa Blvd. in Gilroy. For audiences 18 and over, it is an episodic play comprised of monologues addressing women’s sexuality and abuse. Proceeds will benefit Community Solutions and Emmaus House. The Junior League of San Jose (JLSJ) will hold its 23rd biennial Rummage

Sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, 344 Tully Road, San Jose. The sale will serve thousands of bargain hunters, budget-minded shoppers, and all families in Santa Clara County. Admission is free. Attendees can also attend the free Community Health & Services Fair from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., featuring more than 30 healthcare providers and community service agencies which

serve to benefit overall health and well-being. All proceeds from the sale will help fund JLSJ’s Community Program.

Healthy trails hike

Join park staff on a 3.5-mile hike on the Los Cerritos and Pena trails from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 24. Enjoy views of Calero Reservoir and check out Los Cerritos Pond.
