Road Rally and Poker Fun Run: The Morgan Hill Community Foundation hosts the 2nd annual Discover Morgan Hill Road Rally and Poker Fun Run Saturday. Participants will begin at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, and then proceed through the city and countryside to participating businesses. Those interested in entering the Road Rally with a vehicle can visit mhroadrally.com for details. Entry fee is $40 through today and $45 for event-day registrations. Registration at the Community and Cultural Center opens at 8 a.m., engines start at 9 a.m., and the event concludes at 1 p.m.
San Jose Obon Festival
The 78th annual San Jose Obon Festival is dancing into town from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. The traditional Japanese dances, food, entertainment and games are always a hit among adults and children of all ages. Details: sjbetsuin.com
Clay and Glass Festival
The 21st annual Palo Alto Clay and Glass Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Palo Alto Art Center. The Palo Alto Clay & Glass Festival is the largest show of its kind, with 175 juried artists displaying their work. Enjoy a variety of engaging activities, including hands-on pottery-making and wheel-throwing demonstrations.
Fountain Blues Festival
The 33rd annual Fountain Blues Festival will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at St. James Park, North First and St. John streets, in downtown San Jose.  Advance tickets are $15 and available online at fountainbluesfestival.com, or $20 at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free with an adult.
