Harvest Festival and Haunted House
Luigi Aprea’s 2nd annual Harvest Festival and Haunted House will be held Saturday, Oct. 19. Harvest Fest will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. and haunted house from 7 to 10 p.m. Activities include a harvest marketplace, food trucks, spooky sugar shack, bounce house, carnival games and more. Oak Glen home tour
A tour of the Ward family’s Oak Glen farm home will be held noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at 15675 Oak Glen Ave. Docent-led tours of one of Morgan Hill’s finest historic houses, built in 1900, will teach you the history of the Ward family, who settled in Paradise Valley in 1894. $35 in advance, $40 at the door. Halloween Spooktacular
The 13th annual Halloween Spooktacular will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 at the Gilroy Outlets. The first 500 children to stop by the information center in building C will receive free trick-or-treat bags and goodies. Candy and treats will also be distributed by participating merchants who will be identified by a poster on the doors.
Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival
The World Pumpkin Capital of Half Moon Bay celebrates its bountiful fall harvest and autumn splendor from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 19-20 on Main Street, between Miramontes and Spruce Street in Half Moon Bay. Details: www.miramarevents.com.
