Our mother died peacefully in Roseville, CA, at age 96. A loving mother and grandmother, she lived independently into her 90s, enjoying life and, especially, her children and grandchildren.
She leaves behind sons Kenneth McPhail and partner Fran Ellingwood, Roy (Bob) McPhail, Jr. and daughter-in-law Deni, and step-daughters Jo Dawson and Jerry Fair and her husband Bruce. Ida is also survived by eight beloved grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Our mother was preceded in death by her husband, Roy McPhail, Sr., and siblings Frank and Ray Sabbatini, Anna Lavagnino and Ines Lemos. She is survived by siblings Elsie Scagliotti, Armeda Dooling and Ralph Sabbatini.
Born in Hollister, CA. She graduated from St. Mary’s Nursing School located in San Francisco.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 10th, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hollister CA.
