Ignacio Magana died Thursday, July 29, 2004 afternoon at Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility. He was 81 years old and born in Michoacan, Mexico.
He had lived here many years and was employed for many of those years with Ferry Morse Seed Co. He originally came to San Benito County in 1957 and lived here and in San Diego over those years.
He is survived by his children, Arcelia Godoy of Houston, Texas, Alfredo Godoy of Hollister, Jesse Godoy of Hollister, Roberto Godoy of Mexico City, Lito Godoy of Tijuana, Ignacio Godoy, Jr of Tijuana, Maricela Godoy of Hollister and Leonor Godoy of Gilroy. He is also survived by his numerous granchildren.
Arrangements and cremation are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory.
The family will take Mr. Magana’s cremated remains to Panteon Jardin, Tijuana, Mexico for burial.
