Dear Editor:

How do we settle the growth control problem?

The more we develop, the more we bury ourselves in our own garbage.

The farmers and ranchers are living in fear. Our groceries stores are full of massively chemically injected imported food from slave labor countries. And land for development is still seen as the most secure route to financial security.

How can we really plan for many future generations?

The basics of life are disappearing: clean water, air, space, nature, and local healthy food.

In so many ways, we need planning that looks to the future if there is to be one.
