Thursday, Sept. 25 after a lengthy illness. He was 65.

Hollister resident Isaac Abraham Dobbins died at his home Thursday, Sept. 25 after a lengthy illness. He was 65.
Dobbins was born in Canton, Ohio. He lived for 20 years in Sunnyvale and for 15 years in lived in Manteca before moving to Hollister one year ago.
He was a member of the Manteca Association and the Appaloosa Horse Club. He bred and raised Appaloosa horses. He was a carpenter for all of 40 years in home building and lastly was in plant maintenance at Siliconix.
He is survived by his wife Mary V. Dobbins of Hollister; daughters Lucinda (John) Dutra of Hollister and Debra (Gerry) Veloria of San Jose; son Daniel (Mara) Dobbins of Livermore, Calif.; brothers Jim Dobbins of Reno, Nev., Robert Dobbins of Florida, and Timothy Dobbins of Canton; sisters Rosa Myers of Tampa, Florida, Betty Campbell of Manteca, Luella Monselle of San Jose and Antonia Pope of Monteca; eight grandchildren, Bracal, Katrina, Tony, Danielle, Melanie, Lorenzo, Johnna and Jared; four great-grandchildren, Jesse, Gabriel, Dakota and Darren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., in Hollister.
Friends may also visit at the funeral home Wednesday all day after 9 a.m.
Cremation will follow at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Crematory with private inurnment.
