Jack V. Wood died Jan. 31 in Hollister. He was born in Granite City, Ill. and was 60 years old.
He married his wife, Linda, in Reno, Nev. in 1965 and moved to Hollister from Gilroy four years ago and lived for many years in South Santa Clara County.
He is survived by his wife Linda Wood of Hollister; his daughter and her husband, Jacqui and John Hegner of Gilroy; his brother and sisters, Terry Wood of Sun Valley, Nev., Sharon Byerly of Klammath Falls, Ore. and Wanda Curtain of Hawaii. He is also survived by granddaughter Kristin Hegner of Gilroy.
Arrangements and cremation are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory.
Private family interment will be at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose.
