Jake was a vibrant, intelligent young man. He graduated from San Benito High School in 2009 with honor roll. Currently, Jake was attending Gavilan College and on his way to earning his degree in Criminal Justice. He aspired to work in Law Enforcement once he graduated. He spent much of his free time in the outdoors camping, fishing, and riding quads with his family and friends.

Jake was always found riding his quads, studying, or working hard at his job with Leal Vineyards. Dedication was not unfamiliar to Jake, and those around him knew it. He excelled in every aspect of life. He was an amazing child and had blossomed in to an even more amazing man. He is survived by his mother Kelley Gonzalez, Father Joaquin Gonzalez and Joaquin’s wife Giselle Gonzalez of Hollister, his sister Brianne Gonzalez of Las Vegas, his girlfriend Chelsea of Hollister, and his grandfather Salvador Gonzalez of Gilroy, his grandmother Magdalena De La Torre of Gilroy, his Grandfather David Head of Hollister and Grandmother Linda Head of San Martin and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held February 4th, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at the Willow Heights Mansion in Morgan Hill. The family ask that instead of flowers, donations be sent to the San Benito County Animal Shelter 1331 South St. Hollister, CA 95023
