He was born in Alice, TX on September 25, 1984, to Abelardo G. Casas and Rebecca M. Stansell-Garcia. He is survived by his father and stepmother Abelardo G. and Maria Elena Casas, and his mother Rebecca M. Stansell-Garcia, both of Gilroy; his paternal grandfather Jose (Olga) Casas from San Diego, CA; his two half brothers Daniel (Maria del Jesus) Casas and David (Melissa) Casas, both of Hollister CA; his half sister Melody (Bonita) and Harold Ketchum of Antioch, CA; his older brother Samuel T. Casas of San Diego, CA; and also by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
The sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ made available the resurrection hope as stated in John 5:28, 29; and as a baptized witness of Jehovah God Jahaziel had the strong faith in this resurrection hope which sustained him to the end.
A memorial talk will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 8530 Forest St. in Gilroy on Saturday July 9, 2005 at 11am.
