James E Duley was a San Jose resident for over 70 years. He passed away in Morgan Hill at the age of 93.

James was born in Beaver, OK in 1916 to Andrew and Millie Duley.

In 1935 he and his family migrated to California during the dust bowl days. He worked and harvested the California crops. He met and married Margaret Rizzi of Gilroy in 1939. They settled in San Jose where he worked at American Can Co. until retirement. They where married for over 66 years until her death in 2005. During their marriage James served his country in World War II in the US Navy. He was a very proud American and patriot.

James and Margaret raised three children the late James R Duley (Marlene), Janis Weiler (Robert) and Susan Tellerday. He was the proud grandpa of nine and the great-grandpa to 10.

He will be missed for his quick wit and sense of humor. Even during his eight month stay at Pacific Hills in Morgan Hill he continued to have a positive attitude and disposition. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him. He leaves many fond memories to his friends and family.

Visitation will be Monday 4/5/10 at 12:00 P.M. and services to follow at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Hill, San Jose, CA.
