James, surrounded by family, passed away peacefully at his home early Friday morning October 9, 2009. He was born in New York and lived in Morgan Hill since 2000.

James had a passion for many things in life. His love of baseball moved him to coach Little League and Pony Baseball for many years. He loved the sport, but more importantly, he loved the kids he was able to coach.

Another passion was horses. He and Spenser shared a love of riding and competing.

One of his dreams was becoming a Pilot. During his training he often took his children flying with him.

James loved life and lived it passionately and everyone around him felt that.

He is survived by his wife Laura, children Jeri, Spenser, Cody, Emerson, mother-in-law Marilyn, and granddaughter Bella.

Although he will be missed, his impact on everyone will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Neet children’s education fund. Contact Alice Jones at (408) 782-6659.

A celebration of his life will be held at Advent Lutheran Church 16870 Murphy Avenue, Morgan Hill, CA October 17, 2009 2:00 P.M.
