James Mitchell Henry left the world as he lived, with a creative and artistic flair. He passed away at his home shortly after celebrating his 68th birthday with cake and friends. James was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Teresa Schuler-Henry, in March, 2007. He is survived by his son, Sean Michael Henry and daughter-in-law, Sabrina Olivas-Henry, Grandson, Hayden Patrick Henry and a granddaughter on her way. Before his retirement in Hollister, James worked in San Francisco on Navy ships as a laborer and firewatchman.

To anyone who ever crossed his path, James was more than happy to share a story and a cup of coffee. He will be missed by family, friends and town folk in and around Hollister for years to come.
