James Paul Redd passed away October 27, 2010, at the home he built in Gilroy. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Helen Redd in 1979; survived by his eight children Drucilla (Jim) Griffin of Ashland, OR, Loretta Martinez, Klamath Falls, OR, Mary (Jim) Garcia of Gilroy, Jim (Sharon) Redd of Eureka, CA, Margaret (Bill) Gregory, Klamath Falls, OR, Mike (Kristi) Redd of Klamath Falls, OR, Larry (Shelley) Redd of Klamath Falls, OR, and Debbie (Donald) Hopf of Gilroy; also survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Jim was lovingly cared for in his final years by Al Roybal and Delmy Cienfuegos.

Jim was a resident of Gilroy for 66 years and a 50-year member of the Operating Engineers working for Radtke Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling in his motor home.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. followed by funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Online condolences and information at habingfamilyfuneralhome.com
