Janice Eaton passed away to be with her Lord and Savior due to lung cancer.
She was surrounded by her family who loved her very much. Jan was born in Palo Alto, CA. She was preceded in death by parents Kenneth and Helen Vogt, and her siblings Wayne Vogt and Beverly Rearic, and father-in-law, Paul Eaton, Sr.
Jan married Paul Eaton, the love of her life in 1963 and they were married for 48 years. They had two children Chris, married to Mia, and Stacie, married Jason Epling. Grandchildren Al, Brent, and Tyler Eaton and Casey Carpenter and Anthony Epling. Mother-in-law Pauline Eaton. Sister-in-law Stephanie Armiger and family, and Bother-in-law Bill Eaton and family. Many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all. Jan graduated from Cupertino High School in 1961 and also attended Foothill College. Jan worked for many local seed companies including Peter’s Wheeler, Roger’s Seeds, and Northrup King for a total of 27 years of service. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at South Valley Community Church in Gilroy at 11:00 A.M. with burial following.
