JACQUELINE DELORES ESPINOZA, 80, died Friday, March 14, 2008 in Salem. She was born on November 14, 1927 the daughter of Herman and Anna Delores Miller Peter in San Francisco, California. She married John Espinoza on April 7, 1957 in Santa Cruz, California. She worked as a school bus driver for the Morgan Hill Unified School District in Morgan Hill, CA from 1968 to 1978. She was a manicurist for two years also in Morgan Hill. They retired and moved to Detroit, Oregon in 1988 where they owned a cabin. She lived in Salem, Falls City and returned to Salem a year ago.

Jaqueline was a member of the Rebecca’s Lodge and enjoyed every kind of craft. She was very active with the Boy Scouts of America.

She is survived by her daughter Rhonda Hale of Dallas, sons Michael Winsett of Mexico, Ronald Winsett of Portland, Joel Espinoza of California and George Espinoza of Colorado and step daughter Nancy Flook of South Dakota along with 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Barbara Grever of Everett, Washington.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 7th at 4:00 P.M. in the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Memorials are suggested to Willamette Valley Hospice in care of the mortuary at 287 SW Washington St. Dallas, Oregon 97338. To leave an on-line condolence go to www.dallastribute.com.
