On January 5th 1980 the world was blessed with the gift of a life that impacted and touched each person whose path he crossed: Jason Ray Amaya.

If you met him briefly your heart was no doubt touched with the warmth that only his friends and loved ones were so blessed to be a part of.

He grew to be a man who put his faith in the Lord; a fearless heart, whose dreams and goals in life had no limitations. A man who was motivated to do and be the best solely on his own will and desire.

On June 15th, 2009 the entire world changed for those of us who knew him or had the gift of meeting him. Now what we keep in our hearts about him, the heavens are rich with. Until we are called by our heavenly Father to be reunited with him, he will remain alive in our thoughts and hearts because he was as bright and shining as the sun. He brought great warmth and unwavering love to those he held dear.

There was no better man to have as a friend, because he cared so much. His personality was one of the many great things about him. He was a very sweet and gentle-hearted man, and he always had a way to make anybody smile and laugh. He was an extremely motivated person and was always hard-working; striving to do more, to do better. He was always so diligent to that which he wanted to achieve. It was seen in his actions, in his eyes, but mostly in his heart.

To say he had heart would be an understatement; his heart was so big, and that’s why so many were drawn to love him. He was such a beautiful person in every way. He was the life of the party, and he liked attention, but he always put other people first. No matter the age, he loved kids; he always wanted a big family. He touched the hearts of so many people. Ja was the “tough guy”, strong, fast, and always up for the challenge. Never to back down or quit.

Jason lived what he believed; it is more blessed to give than to receive. He was full of compassion and filled with perfect love. -Psalms 100-

Jason was survived by his parents Raymond and Mary Alice Amaya, his fiance Rachel Kilby, his sister Raelene Amaya and brothers Ryan, Nathan and David Amaya.
