Jeannette Irene McSheehan passed away in Gilroy, CA on July 30, 2009. She was 73.

Born in Maine, September 27, 1935, she grew up in Rochester, NH. Living in California, in different cities since the 1950’s, she spent the last 39 years in Gilroy.

While in Burlingame and San Mateo (1955-1962), she worked in a major restaurant at San Francisco International Airport. Many area residents will remember her from when she owned and ran the Mission Cafe (1962-1966) and her collectibles/antique shop, Baubles and Books (ca. 1968-1971), both in San Juan Bautista, as well as the Greyhound in Gilroy (1966-1980). She worked in the Gilroy K-Mart Deli in the early 80’s and later became the assistant manager for Pacific Mobile Estates mobile home park (ca. 1985-2002) before retiring.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Paul Beaulieu, her husband, Henry Sr. McSheehan, and both her parents, Roland and Marie Beaulieu.

She is survived by her daughter, Deb Yeager in Winnetka, CA, and her son, Clyde McSheehan in Gilroy, and two step-sons, John and Henry Jr. McSheehan, both in Rochester, NH, and many relatives and friends in Canada, California, Maine, New Hampshire and elsewhere.

There will be a small service on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy, CA. Interment will be in Mont-Calvaire Cemetery in Gonic, NH, arrangements by Grondins Funeral Home, Rochester, NH.
