Hollister resident
Jennifer E. Thatcher died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto after a lengthy illness. She was 31.

Ms. Thatcher was born in Mountain View and had lived in Hollister for three years. She worked as a secretary for nearly eight years for a computer service company and was a member of the Hollister Church of Christ.

She is survived by her mother, Helen Marshall of Santa Rosa; her father, John Thatcher and his wife, Mary, of St. George, Utah; her brothers and sisters, Michael Cummings of Denver, Colo., Victoria Tanner of Santa Rosa and Yvette Mucerino of South Carolina; her half-brothers and -sisters, William Holub and Tammy Morris, both of Las Vegas, Nev., and John Thatcher Jr. of Palo Alto; and her fiance, John Houle of Hollister.

Memorial services will be held today at 7 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 620 Monterey St. Pastor Edwin Perryman will officiate.

Arrangements for services and cremation are under the direction of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory.
