Hollister native
Hollister native Jimmy Ray Villegas died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 in Tucson, Ariz. He was 50.

Mr. Villegas had lived all his life in Hollister before moving to Arizona five years ago. He worked in construction.

He is survived by his children, Jimmy Larry Villegas of Hollister, Desiree Villegas of Fairfield and David Lopez of Tulare; his brothers and sisters, Richard Villegas, Ricky Villegas and Rodney Villegas, all of Hollister, Mary Painter and Linda Williams, both of Alabama, Minnie Doria of Fairfield, Genita Bosso of Paso Robles, Joanne Kelloggs and Jeannette Scritchfield, both of Oroville and Billy Villegas of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may pay their respects Friday, March 28 after 9 a.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow with private family inurnment.
