Joan A. Bellavance-Crowe passed away in Gilroy, California July
4, 2004. Mrs. Crowe was born in Auburn, Maine 74 years ago. She was
preceded in death by her husband William Crowe.
She is survived by her daughter Roxanne and her husband Steven Mayne of Morgan Hill; grandmother of Jeannette and her husband Nicholas Crawley of Georgia, William and his wife Tracey Mayne of San Jose, Steven Jr. and his wife Mary Mayne of Gilroy; Great-grandmother of Joshua and Tyler Crawley of Georgia, Trevor and Madison Mayne of San Jose and Dean Mayne of Gilroy; Sister of Anita Desjardins of Auburn, Maine; and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Women in Touch II of Gilroy and active in the local Elks. Her hobbies were ceramics and basket making but spending time with family, friends and her great grandchildren were her greatest joy, she loved to travel especially cruises which she did as often as she could.
Memorial services will be August 28, 2004 2:00 p.m. at the Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Donations to the local Elks Lodge major projects in her memory are preferred and appreciated.
