Joe A. Aguero died Friday, Oct. 17 in Hollister. He was 19.
He was born in Hollister. He graduated from San Benito High School and attended Gavilan College. He was in the Pop Warner Hall of Fame as a youth playing football.
He is survived by his daughter Mariah Shae Aguero of Hollister; parents Joe and Diane Aguero of Los Banos; brother Isaac Aguero of Los Banos; sister Denice Aguero of Los Banos; grandparents Herman and Margie Valderrama of Hollister and Jose and Irma Aguero of Fresno. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Timothy James Aguero.
Wake services will be held Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 24. Friends and family can meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. and then proceed to Sacred Heart Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Interment and graveside services will follow the Mass at IOOF Cemetery.
Donations may be made to a fund for his daughter, Mariah, in care of Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
