Memorial service on August 8, 2015. at Advent Lutheran Church, 16875 Murphy Ave., Morgan Hill, at 1:00 P.M.
 Jack was born in Choteau, MT and grew up on a ranch.
 During WWII, he was a Navy diesel engineering officer on a minesweeper in the South Pacific.
 He worked as a mechanical engineer in Colorado, Utah and California before retiring to pursue gardening, fishing, music and church activities.
 He is survived by daughter, Linda Loftesness, son, Paul (Lynda), daughter, Christine Walsh, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  
 Predeceased by his wife, Ruth, son, John, daughter, Betty and sisters, Margaret, Evelyn and Lois.
