John J. Lawless, beloved husband of Kay Lawless and loving father of Patrick Lawless, passed away on December 5, 2007.
He was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island in 1947 and moved to California in 1977 with his wife. They began Culinary Express in 1989 and he was instrumental in growing a successful catering and event business. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A private memorial celebrating his life has been held.
In lieu of flowers John requested that donations be made to either the Morgan Hill or the San Jose Rotary Endowment Fund. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 1017 Morgan Hill, CA 95038, and will be forwarded to the proper Rotary Club.
An Annual holiday party hosted by Patrick and Kay for family and friends will be held on December 18, 2007 at Culinary Express to celebrate his life and the wonder of the holiday season; friends are cordially invited to attend. John greatly looked forward to the holiday season and wished nothing more than for family and friends to join together for the annual celebration again this year.
