Longtime South Valley resident John Jerry Fumagalli, age 77, passed away in San Angelo, TX on January 12, 2010.

Fumagalli served faithfully in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and maintained a life-long pride as a Marine and Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his wife Barbara of San Angelo as well as daughter Linda and husband Bill Nance of San Angelo, son Michael and wife Kathy and son Gary and fiancee Angie Trujillo all of Morgan Hill.

Surviving siblings are brother Anthony Fumagalli and wife Lavina of Gilroy and sister Mae Mendoza of Manteca.

Surviving grandchildren are Rocko Nance, San Angelo, TX, Phil Nance, Seattle, WA. Brandon Fumagalli and wife Jessica, Castro, Valley, CA. Amber Fumagalli, Castro Valley, Michelle and Nicole Fumagalli, Morgan Hill, and Mary Lupina and husband Justin, Orangevale, CA.

Great-grandchildren are Alyssia, Kirsten, Angelique and Julianna Lupina, all of Orangevale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who all held a special place in his heart.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Advent Lutheran Church, 16870 Murphy Ave. Morgan Hill, CA.

The family requests in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the charity of your choice in John’s name.
