Graduated from Southside School, Gavilan College with an AS degree in Transfer Studies, University of Santa Cruz, BS in Physics and was a graduate student in Engineering at San Jose State University. Survived by his parents John and Kaye Bedell, brothers Matthew and Jeffrey, grandfather O.J. Bedell, Sr., aunt Martha Bedell Crum and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in Hollister and on the east coast. He was predeceased by his grandmothers Grace Graham Bedell and June Reed Frits. Private services will be held. Memorials preferred to Southside Elementary School Foundation, c/o Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA 95023.
