Save our local 4-H clubs!
That should be the feeling of every citizen of San Benito County. We need to ask ourselves what better investment there is than in the youth of our county. The $70,000 is a small amount of money invested by the county in 4-H, and it is money well spent to teach these great youth the benefit only being in 4-H can.
As I have been circulating petitions for signatures in support of our local 4-H, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. I encourage all citizens to become involved in the saving of our 4-H clubs. Attend the meetings, hold a sign in support or do whatever it takes to not allow our 4-H to be taken from our county.
The investment should not be measured in money, but in the invaluable experience of our future leaders, the outstanding youth of San Benito County 4-H clubs.
