Former Hollister resident
Jon Paul Foshee died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003 in Chico from injuries in a motorcycle accident. He was 23.

Mr. Foshee was born in San Jose. He attended local schools and had lived most of his life in Hollister before moving last summer to Chico, where he worked as a salesman in a clothing store. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed skateboarding, auto racing and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Rosemarie Foshee of Hollister; his brothers, Pat, Mark and Joseph Foshee, all of Hollister; his grandparents, John and Alicia Filice of Hollister and Rita Brooks of Vancouver, Wash.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Benedict Church for a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to St. Benedict Church or a charity of choice.
