Gilroy resident
Jose Jesus Guerrero died Saturday Dec. 28, 2002 in Gilroy. He was 73.
Mr. Guerrero was born in Robstown, Texas and had lived in Gilroy for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary Church.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughters Albertha and Consuelo Guerrero; and his sisters Jovita Segovia, Maria Carmen Garcia and Maria R. Alvarado.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Albertha Cano Guerrero; his children and their spouses, Antonia and Henry Zapata, Blanca and Daniel Suniga, Nora G. Lopez and Jose Vasquez, Jose Guerrero and Albino Guerrero, all of Gilroy, and Ricardo Guerrero of Stanfield, Oregon; his brothers and sisters, Antonio Guerrero of Dallas, Texas, Guadalupe Guerrero and Consuelo Oballe of Robstown, Texas; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Vigil service will be held today at 6 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Mary Church for a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the Kidney Foundation.
