Joseph H. Twitchell of Livingston, CA, formerly of Indianapolis, IN passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, after a short illness.
Joseph was born the youngest of seven children in Hollister, CA to Joseph and Mary Twitchell
and was raised by his Uncle Ray and Aunt Annie Castro.
He worked for Allison Transmission in Speedway, IN for 23 years before retiring in 2001.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte, sister, Josephine Arreola of Gilroy, daughters, Joline Arevalo of Gilroy, Vickie Nessinger of Petaluma, Cindy Twitchell of Indianapolis, sons Joseph of San Jose, Robert of Long Beach, grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many cousins nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sisters JoAnn Sendajas, Rita Ruiz, Marie Valdez, Barbara Montez and brother Raymond Rodriguez.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on March 27, 2011, at Livingston United Methodist Church located at 11695 Olive Ave in Livingston.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, your local Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home of Atwater.
