Josephine Kretschmer

Josephine departed this earth on Valentine’s Day to be with her loving husband, Adolph, of 72 years, who predeceased her in 2003. Loving mother of Betty (Richard) Harvey of Morgan Hill. Devoted grandmother of Jackie (Doug) Hummel of Half Moon Bay, Ken (Annette) Merck of San Francisco, Karen (Peter) Paulhe of Los Banos, and Janet Delfino of Morgan Hill. Proud great-grandmother of Abraham, Lisa, Michael, Marie and David, and great-great-grandmother of Dylan. Josephine touched many lives with her warm and loving disposition. She always had a sparkle in her eye and loved to share in laughter. Her bright spirit lives on in all our hearts and she will be dearly missed. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 5-8 P.M. with a vigil service to commence at 7:00 P.M., both at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Catherine Parish, 17400 Peak Avenue in Morgan Hill. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Josephine’s honor to the American Diabetes Association.
