Josephine Larrondo died suddenly Wednesday, Sept. 24, at her Hollister home. She was 93.

She was born in Urepel, Pyreenes, France and came to California in 1936. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a homemaker all her life along with working with her husband on the sheep ranches.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jean L. Larrondo.

She is survived by her son Pete (Florence) Larrondo of Stockton; daughters Yvonne (Mel) Silveira of Hollister and Henriette (Paul) Carbone of Hollister; grandchildren Eugene Carbone of Hollister, Michelle Van De Mark of Hollister, Joseph Silveira of Hollister, Jeannette Petersen of Lodi, Andre Larrondo of Fresno, Veronica Larrondo of Fresno, and Jackie Jeanne and Johnny Cubiburu of Stockton; sister Regina Cabellero of Spain and sister-in-law Jeanne Dihartce of San Francisco.

Funeral services will be today from the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. proceeding to Sacred Hearth Catholic Church for a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Hollister. A visitation was held Sunday, Sept. 28.
