Long-time Hollister resident Juana V. Bustillos died Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at her home in Hollister. She was 80.

Mrs. Bustillos was born in San Bernadino and had lived in Hollister since 1960. She worked for Tri-Valley Growers and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 890 and the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hollister.

She is survived by her children, Maria Lozoya, Margarita Dozal, Isidra Serrano, Maria Dozal, Otilia Arroyo and Javier Bustillos, all of Hollister, and Irma Chapa of Los Banos; her brothers and sisters, Antonio Villanueva of Hollister, Federico Villanueva of Texas and Margarita Carta and Guadalupe Juarez, both of Mexico; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Santiago Bustillos in 1978; her sons, Manuel, Salvador, Jose and Alfredo Bustillos; and her sisters, Isabel Lira, Josefina Espinoza and Alvina Fierro.

Visitation will be Thursday from noon until 9 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Prayer services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2121 Sunnyslope Road. Interment and graveside services will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
