DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:

Rosa Velazquez, 27, of Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for domestic violence, a felony, after allegedly scratching a man, chasing him with a hammer and threatening to kill him at 10:49pm Sunday, police said.

Victoriano Flores, 38, of Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for domestic violence, a felony, after allegedly hitting a woman in the face at 10:50pm Sunday, police said.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE:

Francisco Caballero, 42, of Salinas, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence and driving without a license, both misdemeanors, during a traffic stop on Westside Boulevard in Hollister at 9:48pm Saturday, police said.

Ramiro Robles, 40, of 2575 Fallon Road in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence and driving without a license, both misdemeanors, during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Maple Street in Hollister at 9:26pm Sunday, police said.

Joseph Hill, 22, of Gilroy, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, during a traffic stop on San Benito Street near Maple Street at 2:37am Sunday, police said.

Sandra Guitierrez, 26, of the 1500 block of Nash Road in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence and a parole violation, both misdemeanors, during a traffic stop on Highway 156 near Highway 25 at 4:43am Sunday, police said.

DRUG USE:

A 16-year-old Hollister girl was arrested by Hollister police for being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, after officers responded to a Hollister home on a report that a teenager was out of control.

DRUG POSSESSION:

Jesus Morales, 20, of 650 Verde Circle in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for possession of a controlled substance, a felony, during a traffic stop on Fifth Street in Hollister at 5:20pm Saturday, police said.

GRAND THEFT:

Corey Janic, 18, of 421 Rustic St. in Hollister, was arrested by San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies for grand theft and conspiracy, both felonies, and being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, after allegedly stealing mail from a mailbox at 5:30pm Friday, police said.

Sharlene Stokes, 19, of 337 College St. in Hollister, was arrested by San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies for grand theft and conspiracy, both felonies, and being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, after allegedly stealing mail from a mailbox at 5:30pm Friday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
