Keep your head down!! How many times have you heard that while you’re golfing .

The fact remains that players don’t often lift their heads. Now your head may move, causing you to miss hit the shot even though your eyes seldom leave the ball.

The most important thing to remember is to keep your head in a position over the ball during the swing.

The biggest culprit of a bad shot is when your head moves forward during the downswing. This is very easy to do because you are trying to slide your weight laterally so your head goes with it.

Unfortunately, when your head slides forward your body goes with it and you “pass the ball up” so to speak. You find yourself well in front of the ball and swing over the top of it.

By keeping your head steady and not allowing it to move forward, you can strike the back of the ball and experience shots that are much more solid and get up in the air move often.
