Was born in San Jose, CA to Ken and Irene Howell on August 14, 1988. He moved on to another ball field on May 25, 2009 in Chico, CA. In 1992 the family moved to Morgan Hill, CA where Kenny lived until graduating from Bellarmine College Preparatory in 2006.

He had many interests and did them well! From being on stage performing at Oakwood in Morgan Hill to excelling in the ceramics class at Bellarmine. Not only was he an artist but he was a great athlete. Kenny had a natural ability for anything involving a ball. He played both competitive soccer and baseball for most of his young life. He loved the fast pace race of the Orchard Valley Soccer League and the challenge of playing first base and pitching in Morgan Hill Pony Baseball. He expanded his horizons on the wrestling mat at Bellarmine assisting his JV team in winning the WCAL championship.

When he wasn’t in school Kenny truly enjoyed working at his father’s electrical company. He was learning the ropes of the business from the bottom up. For the last three years he has lived the school year at Chico, CA where he was studying Construction Management.

Kenny was the kid with the big heart, a big smile and truly was a “man for others” -always willing to help anyone at any time. His sharp wit and great sense of humor made it easy for him to make new friends wherever he was. He loved the simple things in life: playing ball, floating down the Sacramento River, texting, playing with anything related to “technology” or just hanging out with family and friends.

Kenny will be sorely missed forever by his mom and dad, his precious sister, Brianne (whom he loved VERY much), Nana Hermie Acosta of San Jose, grandparents Ken and Phyllis Howell of San Jose, great-grandfather Ruben Hernandez of Morgan Hill, great-grandmother Paula Navarro of San Jose. His aunts and uncles: Irma and Kevin Collins of Hollister; Beto Navarro of San Jose; Mirna and Arnold Flores of Mission Viejo; Sonja and Rich Stewart of Temecula; Jennifer Howell of San Jose; and Marguerite Howell recently of New York/London. He is loved and will be remembered for all the fun “play times” with his many cousins.

We know that he will be safe in the loving arms of his dearly loved Nana Chita and Great Grandma Maria Howell.
