Unlike the defense and your paper, they continuously handled themselves with the utmost dignity and professionalism. Not once with regards to this case did they use the newspaper or any other public arena in an attempt to sway public opinion or for political reasons. They truly were always sensitive to the feelings of loss and suffering that our family is experiencing.

Even under these horrible, horrible circumstances it has been my honor and privilege to get to know these fine people.

Above all else, I want them to know that the kindness and compassion they have shown my family and me are genuinely appreciated.

My heartfelt thanks.

Janell Judnick,

Salinas
