Passed away December 17, 2010, surrounded by family and friends due to complications from a chronic illness.

She was the loving wife of Lem Hymes, a loving mother to Jennifer and her husband Joshua Dingman, Tiffany and her husband Eric Thompson,son Michael, and step-daughter Amy and her husband Todd Phillips. She was a loving grandma to Jacob, Taylor, Gabriel, Innocent, Peter, Matthew and Samantha. She is preceded in death by her sister Christine Lawley, and parents Jack and Yvonne Dalton.

Kitty was born July 2, 1947 in Biloxi, MS. In her youth she had a passion for showing horses and traveled the world.

She had a successful career in the Hospitality Industry and was a smart businesswoman. Most of all she’ll be remembered for being an avid gardener who created a beautiful home where family, friends and pets were always welcome.

She was an awesome listener and an intelligent political debator. Her dog Snickers was never far from her side. Kitty’s heartfelt laughter and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all those who love and adore her.
