L. Maurine Tolbert died at Hazel Hawkins Hospital on Dec. 15.
She was born in Missouri and moved to Hollister from Fresno 12
years ago to be close to her daughter. In Fresno, she was an active
member of Northeast Assembly Church and was the secretary for many
years. Prior to retirement she worked with her husband as the
bookkeeper for Tolbert’s Auto Electric Co. in Fresno.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace A. Tolbert and is survived by her daughter and her husband, Marilyn and Larry McDonald of Hollister and her son and his wife, Dean and Wilma Tolbert of Visalia. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Larry M. McDonald.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 2pm at Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno. Rev. Tyson Tolbert will officiate.
