She had been a resident of San Benito County for over 60 years coming here from Oxnard. She attended Sunnyslope Christian Center and helped at The Alzheimer’s Day Care Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vasquez and is survived by her children and their spouses, Pauline and Raul Valdivia of Hollister, Richard and Mary Vasquez of Selma, Mary Helen and Andrew Lopez of Los Banos and Robert and Elida Vasquez of Hollister; and her sisters, Jennie Alvarez of Hisperia and Inez Figueroa of Gonzalez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends can pay their respects from noon until 8pm on Wednesday, March 2 at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Thursday, March 3 at Sunnyslope Christian Center in Hollister. Interment and graveside services will follow the funeral at the IOOF Cemetery.
