Lee Merz, resident of Morgan Hill, passed away on August 13, 2015. She was 85 years old. She was born Wilma Lee McLaughlin at home on September 8th (or 9th), 1929 in Animas City, Colorado, now part of Durango, where she was raised. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 40 years, William F. Merz. She is survived by her three sons and their spouses: Bill and Jocelyn Merz, Ron and Elayne Merz, and Mark and Sue Merz. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and her sweet sister Ruth Blair, along with many nieces and nephews.
 Lee was a strong and caring person and an independent woman who began a 20+ year career in real estate in her late fifties. She enjoyed her family and her friends, many of whom she loved as family. Her life will remain an inspiration to us and her memory will be our blessing.
