Beloved mother, wife, and daughter passed away at home. She was 72 years old. Born in Del Rio, TX.

On Nov. 30, 1953, she married Ted Cervantes and settled in CA. Devoted caregiver of her mother and daughter.

Feb. 19, 1965, daughter Veronica Cervantes was born. In 1979, received teaching credential. She taught first grade for 14 years at MHUS.

Her passions were traveling, reading, bowling, collecting antiques, cooking, and a real animal lover. She enjoyed dancing and going to social events, which included participating in the San Felipe Exe’s.

Preceded by husband, Ted Cervantes, parents Lalo Reyes and Maria Rodriguez, and brother Mario Reyes. Survived by daughter, Veronica Rodriguez, and son-in-law, John Rodriguez. Also survived two sisters-in law, Anita Cervantes and Belia Reyes. Survived by nieces and nephews, Norma Costa, Pricilla Wilkins, Eddie Cervantes, Wanda Reyes, Mario Reyes, Becky Rendon, and Velma Danielson and many Godchildren.

Tuesday-Vigil at 7:00 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home. Wednesday-Burial Services at St Catherine’s at 10:00 A.M.
