The city makes things more complex than what they are. They seem like they are doing their job and acting like they are, but they really are not. They are out of touch with reality. When the election was over, I knew from what someone had told me and what I read in the newspaper, that they wanted to build a water treatment plant. I knew before the election, but they would not answer me. As of today, I still have not received any documents that I requested on this from the county water district. So why, knowing that people cannot afford to pay their bills as it is. That will only raise the water bill each month probably double. It’s up to their discretion. City council made that vote. They implemented it to create a huge debt for the city and the tax payers, which are us. They do not want to take no responsibility at all. And you the people vote for them. Everyone, who is there on the council,.
When I was going for mayor, my intentions were for the best interest for the people and to create revenue, not wasteful spending. I wanted to make sure there would be a change for the local government for the best interest of the people. I wanted to make sure, people that work for the city our well qualified for their position and earn the money they make. The people need better options and opportunities. Jobs in the city, better policies, change our ordinances of the council, and focus on the future of our children and our city!
The citizens need answers, straight honest answers, not making loop holes and going around things. Number one, common sense, why would you build a Walgreens right across from rite aid? That will probably make rite aid lose business. They are the same kind of store. Me myself I do prefer Walgreens over rite aid.  Also, I read in the paper last week that the city manager and the city lawyer are leaving the city. I feel what they are getting paid per year, over one hundred thousand dollars or more a year. And so is the city clerk. The next ones they hire should receive less than that to save the city money and the fund. I really think we should do better for our city, and create things for family s to do together.
Thank you again for the emails from the citizens that have been writing to me. I appreciate it. My email is [email protected] if you have any questions. I also want everyone to know I will be running in the election for 2014.
P.S.: I had a good memorial day in Gilroy, I went to the parade. But I still spent my money in the city of Hollister. Happy Father’s day coming up, for all the great Fathers out there.
