Dear Editor,
I and many other county citizens agree (if you don’t believe me you should check out comments on Facebook about your paper), your recent article totally blowing up Frank Leal was a mistake. I am not condoning his actions, but when you go into detail about a local businessman and post his picture, breakdown the penal code, and post his expletive call to Mr. lee which seems “very” personally led, on the front page of the paper, you are telling us readers a few things.
One is you are obviously very biased when you post a well-known businessman ( and “no” I personally don’t know him) and make him seem like a felon, which he isn’t.
Two, you make someone who committed a misdemeanor more important than the article hidden in the paper of a felony assault with a deadly weapon. Maybe it would be a better idea to establish rules of engagement in writing your paper one, is transparency, two accountability, and three quit being a respecter (or disrespecter in this case) of persons over principle.
