Lincoln L. Elsten died at his Hollister home at the age of 44. He was born in Tucson, Arizona, moved to Hollister from San Jose in 1999 and worked in quality assurance in his family business. He married his wife, Mary, in 1990 in San Jose and liked to golf.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Elsten of Hollister, his children, Rachel Elsten and Ryan Elsten both of Hollister, his father and mother, Marvin and Dianne Elsten of San Jose and his brother and sister, Chris Elsten of Santa Cruz and Mary Guilbert of San Jose and his grandmothers, Margaret Dreschler of Sun City, AZ and Lucy Elsten of Galt, CA. He is preceded in death by his grandfather and his grandmother, Les Elsten and Margaret Jolly.

A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. A second celebration will be at 1:00 P.M. the same day at the home of Mary Guilbert, 3714 Lynx Ct, San Jose, CA.
