Lloyd Raymond Jennings, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, September 11, 2014 after a short battle with mesothelioma. He was born December 18, 1947 in Watsonville and moved to Hollister 15 years ago to be near his grandchildren.

He enjoyed the outdoors, camping with family, gardening, driving his hot rod and was an avid fan of the Giants and 49ers. One of his favorite places was Yosemite where he spent many summers with his family.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  Lloyd is survived by his high school sweetheart, his wife of 48 years, Sheri Jennings; daughter, Jill (David) Bucaloy of Hollister; son, Scott Jennings of Modesto; grandchildren, Dustin Bucaloy of Aptos, Chelsea and Drew Bucaloy of Hollister, Taylor and Reylee Jennings of Modesto; sister, Dee Knutson; brother, Ray (Arlene) Jennings; brother-in-law, Richard Soria; mother-in-law, Bette McCarroll and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Dorthy Hacker and Helen Niemela. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts until we meet again.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Community Hospital of Monterey for the excellent, compassionate care they gave to Lloyd and his family during his stay.
